Q: Kigurumi 到底是什么？
一种来自日本的全套角色扮演方式。戴上角色头壳面具、穿上打底衣和服装，从脸到身体完整变成角色。和传统 Cosplay 不同，不需要靠化妆去“接近“角色——头壳直接决定了角色的脸。
Q: 头壳是硬的还是软的？
绝大多数是硬壳，用玻璃钢、树脂或 3D 打印材料制作。内部会加海绵衬垫，不会直接硌到头。
Q: 戴上头壳怎么看路？
头壳的眉毛位置有视窗（细密网状结构），从外面看是二次元眼睛，从里面看是半透明的。可以看到路，但视野受限，勉强走路没问题，上下楼梯建议有后勤陪同。
Q: 会不会闷？
会的。头壳内部通风有限，夏天尤其闷热。部分型号支持安装小风扇，长时间穿戴建议每隔 20-30 分钟摘下来透气。
Q: 男生可以玩吗？
可以。Kigurumi 不挑性别。实际上，社区里相当多的玩家是男生。
关于穿戴使用 / Wearing & Using
Q: 戴头壳以后怎么交流？
有几种方式：直接说话（声音会闷）、用手机打字、用液晶手写板、或者让后勤帮忙转达。部分玩家也会用肢体动作和手势代替。
Q: 打底衣（皮）是必须的吗？
是的。打底衣覆盖头壳以下所有皮肤，是 Kig 造型的基础部分。分为全包式（棚拍用）和开眼/脸窗式（外出的标配）。
Q: 第一次戴需要注意什么？
- 选一面大镜子，全身镜最佳
- 光线要明亮柔和
- 不要急着拍照，先花几分钟看镜子里的自己
- 如果第一次没感觉，别着急——多戴几次会越来越自然
Q: 出门需要有人陪吗？
强烈建议有后勤陪同。视野受限 + 一般不说话，有人帮看路、提东西、应对路人会安全很多。
关于安全与保养 / Safety & Care
Q: 头壳有甲醛吗？
正规厂商的头壳在出厂前会经过处理。如果担心，收到后通风放置半个月再佩戴。
Q: 怎么清洁和保养？
- 头壳表面用软布轻轻擦拭，避免用酒精等溶剂
- 内部海绵衬垫定期通风晾晒
- 打底衣建议手洗、阴干，不要暴晒
- 不戴时放在干燥通风处，避免挤压变形
Q: 可以戴着睡觉吗？
不可以。头壳是硬质结构，不适合躺卧佩戴。睡眠时请取下。

About Kigurumi (EN)
Q: What exactly is Kigurumi?
A full-body character performance style from Japan. Put on a character headshell, zentai bodysuit, and outfit — and you become the character from head to toe. Unlike cosplay, you don’t “approximate” the face with makeup — the shell is the face.
Q: Is the headshell hard or soft?
The vast majority are hard shells, made from fiberglass, resin, or 3D-printed materials. The inside is lined with foam padding so it won’t press uncomfortably on your head.
Q: How do you see through the headshell?
There’s a visor mesh hidden in the eyebrow area. From outside it looks like anime eyes. From inside, it’s semi-transparent — enough to walk carefully. Field of view is limited; stairs are best done with a handler.
Q: Is it hot inside?
Yes. Ventilation is limited and summer wear can be challenging. Some models support a small internal fan. For long sessions, take a break to air out every 20–30 minutes.
Q: Can men do this?
Absolutely. Kigurumi isn’t gender-specific, and a significant portion of the community is male.
Wearing & Using (EN)
Q: How do you communicate while wearing the headshell?
Several ways: speak directly (your voice will be muffled), type on a phone, use an LCD writing tablet, or have a handler relay for you. Many players also rely on gestures and body language.
Q: Is the bodysuit (zentai) required?
Yes. The zentai covers all skin below the headshell and is a core part of the kig look. It comes in full-coverage (for studio shoots) and open-eye / face-window styles (standard for going out).
Q: Anything to keep in mind for the first wear?
- Use a large mirror — a full-length one is best
- Make sure the lighting is bright and soft
- Don’t rush to take photos; spend a few minutes just looking at yourself
- If it doesn’t click the first time, don’t worry — it gets more natural with each wear
Q: Do I need someone with me when going out?
Strongly recommended. With limited vision and usually no speaking, having a handler to watch the path, carry things, and handle passersby is much safer.
Safety & Care (EN)
Q: Does the headshell contain formaldehyde?
Reputable manufacturers treat shells before shipping. If you’re concerned, air it out in a ventilated space for about two weeks before wearing.
Q: How do I clean and maintain it?
- Wipe the shell surface gently with a soft cloth; avoid solvents like alcohol
- Air out the inner foam padding regularly
- Hand-wash the bodysuit and dry in shade — no direct sunlight
- Store in a dry, ventilated place and avoid crushing it out of shape
Q: Can I sleep in it?
No. The headshell is a rigid structure and isn’t suitable for lying down. Always take it off before sleeping.

Q: What if there’s a quality issue on arrival?

Q: Can I return or exchange it?
Custom products generally can’t be returned for non-quality reasons. Standard products depend on the situation — see the after-sales terms confirmed with customer service at order time.
Q: How long is the warranty?
There’s a warranty period after delivery, and non-user-caused damage can be repaired. Exact scope and duration follow the after-sales terms.
